How to delete your Lycka account and its data, and exactly what happens when you do.

Write to lycka@jwm.media from the email address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account. For security we can only act on a request that comes from that address, or where you can otherwise show that the account is yours.
We confirm receipt and delete within 30 days, usually within a few working days. There is no charge.
What gets deleted

Please note: Lycka is an app for two people, and shared content belongs to both. Deleting your account also ends the connection, and shared content is deleted for both of you, including kept photos. This cannot be undone. Save anything you want to keep beforehand.
What may still exist afterwards
- Technical backups. Our platform provider keeps backups. Your data is gone from live operation immediately; it drops out of backups as the relevant backup cycle passes.
- Email correspondence with us, to the extent still needed to handle your request or because of statutory retention obligations.
- Data held by Apple or Google about downloading and installing the app. We have no access to that; please contact the respective store.
Unpair without deleting
If you want to keep your account but end the connection, you can do that in the app under Settings. Shared content is deleted for both of you in that case too. Your account and profile remain.
